Terms & Conditions

Legal Status: Universe Advanced Technologies Limited is a company duly registered in the United Republic of Tanzania and provides technology solutions and digital platforms.

  • Acceptance of Terms: By accessing or using this platform, users confirm acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
  • Eligibility: Users must be 18 years or older, or have consent from a parent or legal guardian. Users must provide accurate and lawful information.
  • User Responsibilities: Users agree to keep login credentials confidential, use the platform for lawful purposes only, and avoid misuse, fraud, or unauthorized access.
  • Payments & Transactions: All payments are processed via licensed payment service providers. Transaction confirmations are generated electronically. Users are responsible for verifying payment details before submission.
  • Intellectual Property: All software, content, branding, and system designs are the intellectual property of Universe Advanced Technologies Limited.
  • System Availability: The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted service and shall not be liable for outages caused by internet failures, payment provider downtime, or force majeure events.
  • Limitation of Liability: The Company shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, user negligence or credential misuse, or delays caused by third-party service providers.
  • Suspension & Termination: The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate access where fraud or abuse is suspected, or legal or regulatory requirements demand such action.
  • Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, and disputes shall be resolved under Tanzanian jurisdiction.

Privacy Policy

Universe Advanced Technologies Limited is committed to safeguarding personal data in compliance with Tanzanian data protection principles and applicable ICT regulations.

  • Legal & Regulatory Compliance: This policy aligns with The Electronic and Postal Communications Act (EPOCA), ICT and cybersecurity guidelines issued by Tanzanian authorities, and Payment data security standards imposed by licensed payment service providers.
  • Personal Data Collected: We may collect full name, phone number, email address, user account credentials, transaction references and payment confirmations, and device and system usage information (IP address, logs). Note: Payment credentials are processed securely by licensed third-party payment providers. The Company does not store card PINs or mobile money PINs.
  • Purpose of Data Collection: Personal data is used to provide and manage platform services, process payments and donations, generate transaction records and reports, meet audit, AML, and regulatory obligations, and communicate service updates and support notices.
  • Data Sharing & Disclosure: Data may be shared only with licensed payment service providers, mobile money operators and banks, technology partners supporting the system, and regulators or law enforcement authorities where legally required. We do not sell or trade user data.
  • Data Storage & Security: Data is stored securely using access controls, encryption, and audit logs. System access is restricted based on role authorization. Reasonable safeguards are in place to prevent unauthorized access.
  • User Rights: Users have the right to request access to their personal data, request correction of inaccurate information, and request deletion where legally permissible.
  • Data Retention: Personal and transaction data shall be retained for operational needs and regulatory and audit requirements under Tanzanian law.

Refund Policy

Universe Advanced Technologies Limited provides digital services through its web-based platform and mobile application, including but not limited to ticketing, merchandise sales, donations, subscriptions, and event-related payments.

  • Regulatory Context: This Refund Policy is established in accordance with the National Payment Systems Act, 2015, applicable Bank of Tanzania (BoT) regulations, and Mobile money and card payment rules in the United Republic of Tanzania.
  • General Refund Rule: All payments processed through the platform are final and non-refundable, except where a system error occurs, or a refund is required by Tanzanian law or payment network rules.
  • Donations: All donations made to support Universe Advanced Technologies Limited are voluntary and non-refundable. Once a donation is confirmed, it cannot be reversed.
  • Tickets and Events: Refunds may only be considered in cases of event cancellation without rescheduling, or duplicate or erroneous charges due to system malfunction. Refunds shall not be issued for failure to attend an event or personal scheduling conflicts.
  • Subscriptions & Digital Services: Subscription fees are non-refundable once the service is activated. Exceptions may be granted where a verified technical failure prevents service access.
  • Refund Method & Timeline: Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment channel (mobile money, bank card, or bank transfer). Refund processing may take 7–14 business days, subject to the payment service provider.
